So I was going to write something very funny* about how I was intending on celebrating International Burn A Koran Day, because it would have been tremendously amusing and topical and all that. Alas for fans of topical ironic humour written by a hungover twentysomething the horrible racist hillbilly preacher whose idea it was called the whole thing off. If there's one thing I can't stand it's redneck bigots who can't stand by the disgusting, ignorant convictions.
Of course this will probably change. The guy comes across as profoundly thick so who knows, by the end of today he could have immolated a mountain of sacred texts. This entire media circus is brain-achingly dumb.
